ABSTRACT
The Karangtanjung Climate Tourism Village is a climate village-based tourism destination that offers educational tourism services related to natural disaster mitigation and sustainable practices. This tourism village has development potential and adequate supporting infrastructure, but it is experiencing stagnation in the number of tourist visits. This issue is caused by weak marketing strategies and the suboptimal and unstructured involvement of youth within the tourism management organisation. This study aims to formulate strategies to enhance the role of youth in tourism marketing based on the Branding, Advertising, and Selling (BAS) approach. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analysed using descriptive qualitative techniques and SWOT analysis. The results show that the tourism village is positioned in an aggressive strategy quadrant (Quadrant I), indicating that the formulated strategies focus on optimising strengths and opportunities (SO) strategy.
