ABSTRACT
Regeneration of farmers is a challenge in sustainable agricultural development. Regeneration needs to be done because the majority of farmers in Sukoharjo Regency are old. The Sukoharjo District Government initiated the Movement to Build Millennial Farmers (Gerbang Tami) Program as an effort to produce millennial farmers who are independent and adaptive to technological developments. This research aims to identify activities in the Gerbang Tami Program and analyze behavioral changes that occur in millennial farmers after participating in the Gerbang Tami Program in Bulu District. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research location was chosen purposively in Bulu Sub-district, Sukoharjo Regency. Determination of informants by purposive sampling. This research involved the head of the millennial farmer community, active millennial farmer members, Field Agricultural Extension Workers (PPL), the Coordinator of the Extension Division of the Sukoharjo Agriculture Office and community leaders as informants. The results of research show that program activities include training on agricultural machinery and equipment, processing of agricultural products, and digital marketing. The training provided in the Gerbang Tami Program has a positive impact on changes in the behavior of millennial farmers from the cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and psychomotor (skills) aspects.
